This App was developed based on the urgent need to develop and take onnew approaches to teaching and learning and to use new technologies tosupport and facilitate this. Linguistic awareness, linguistic responsiveteaching, combining language with content teaching and supportinglearners in multilingual settings are an essential element of teachereducation. Thus the App will have an effect on levels. At an institutionallevel, the App will maximise the impacts of internationalisation as a processwith the potential to further develop and strengthen managementstructures, international relations, and educational services, and to furtherdevelop strategic policies related to the internationalisation of education,research, student and staff mobility, and educational technologydevelopment. With this strategy, the App will have an impact at the local, regional,national, European and international level:- Boosting a collaboration among teachers as well as educationresearchers and policymakers regarding tackling childhood obesity- Boosting a collaboration among English teachers and teachers ofother subjects as well as education researchers and policymakers- Exchanging inquiry-based and game-based learning, CLIL and otherinnovative, effective and engaging approaches regarding Englishteaching and learning.
